There are two ways to disable the touchpad on the PowerSpec 1510 / 1710 laptops:
Option A: Press the FN + F1 keys together on your keyboard.
Option B: Open the built-in Control Center using the FN+ESC keys and look under device - if this shows Touchpad Enable, then the touchpad is active. If this shows Touchpad Disable, then it is not activated.
