- On your Mac, select the Trash icon located in the Dock.
- In the window that appears, proceed with one of the following actions:

To empty a single item from the Trash: Control-click the item you wish to delete, then select Delete Immediately.
In the warning message that appears, click Delete.

To empty the entire Trash: Click the Empty button located in the upper-right corner of the Finder window.
Alternatively, you may clickin the Dock, then select Finder > Empty Trash.

To empty the entire Trash: Click the Empty button located in the upper-right corner of the Finder window.
In the warning message that appears, click Empty Trash.
Items moved to the Trash from your Mac will remain there until you choose to empty the Trash. You have the option to automatically empty the Trash in the Finder settings.

WARNING: Any items emptied from the Trash are permanently deleted and will no longer be accessible.
Items moved to the Trash from iCloud Drive are automatically removed from the Trash after 30 days, irrespective of Finder settings. You may choose to empty the Trash prior to the 30-day period.
