For digital cameras and camcorders.
- Replacement protection plan: starts at the date of purchase of the product and extends up to 2 or 3 years depending on plan purchased. Limited to digital cameras/camcorders with a purchase price under $500. If the digital camera or camcorder has a hardware failure (not Accidental Damage related) during the plan timeframe, then the customer can bring the product to the store for evaluation by our Service department (plan does not cover shipping the digital camera or camcorder to the store for evaluation). If Service deems it unrepairable, then the customer will receive a Micro Center gift card for the original purchase price of the covered product (not including sales tax nor the price of the Replacement Plan). The gift card buys out the plan and can be used towards the purchase of any item in-store (does not have to be the same item that the plan covered).
- Accidental Damage (ADH) protection plan: starts at the date of purchase of the product and covers the internal components of the covered product while also adding accidental damage coverage for drops, spills, etc. It also covers shipping to our store if needed.
