Protection Plans - Projectors

Here at Micro Center, we understand the desire to make sure your Projector is protected just in case.

We have a wide variety of plans, here are all the Protection plans we have for projectors:

 

Replacement protection plan

  • This plan starts on the date of purchase of the product and lasts up to 2 or 3 years depending on the plan purchased. 
    • This plan is available for projectors with a purchase price up to $500.00.  
    • Coverage includes hardware failure due to normal use, or manufacturer defect (excluding Accidental Damage). 
    • The plan does not cover shipping the projector to the store for evaluation.
    • If the projector fails (not due to Accidental Damage) during the plan timeframe, you can bring the product to the store for evaluation by our Service department. 
    • If it is determined the failure is within the terms of the plan, they will attempt to find a replacement. 
    • If a suitable replacement is unavailable, then you will receive a Micro Center gift card for the original purchase price of the covered product (not including sales tax or the price of the Replacement Plan). The gift card buys out the plan and can be used towards the purchase of any item in-store (it does not have to be the same item that the plan covered).

 

Carry-in Extension protection plan

  • This plan starts after the manufacturer's warranty expires and extends up to 2 or 3 years beyond. 
    • This plan is available on all projectors.
    • Coverage includes hardware failure due to normal use, or manufacturer defect (excluding Accidental Damage). 
    • The plan does not cover shipping the projector to the store for evaluation.
    • If the projector fails (not due to Accidental Damage) during the plan timeframe, you can bring the product to the store for evaluation by our Service department.
    • If it is determined the failure is within the terms of the plan, they will attempt to find a replacement.
    • If a suitable replacement is unavailable, then you will receive a Micro Center gift card for the original purchase price of the covered product (not including sales tax or the price of the Carry-in Extension plan). The gift card buys out the plan and can be used towards the purchase of any item in-store (it does not have to be the same item that the plan covered).

 

Date of Purchase protection plan

  • This plan starts on the date of purchase of the product and lasts up to 2 or 3 years depending on the plan purchased.
    • This plan is available for projectors over $500.00. 
    • Coverage includes hardware failure due to normal use, or manufacturer defect (excluding Accidental Damage). 
    • The plan does cover shipping the projector to the store for evaluation (Please contact out tech support chat or phone line for help with shipping a qualified item to the store).
    • If the projector fails (not due to Accidental Damage) during the plan timeframe, you can bring the product to the store for evaluation by our Service department.
    • If it is determined the failure is within the terms of the plan, they will attempt to find a replacement.
    • If a suitable replacement is unavailable, then you will receive a Micro Center gift card for the original purchase price of the covered product (not including sales tax or the price of the Date of Purchase Plan). The gift card buys out the plan and can be used towards the purchase of any item in-store (it does not have to be the same item that the plan covered).

 

Accidental Damage (ADH) protection plan

  • This plan starts on the date of purchase of the product and lasts up to 2 or 3 years depending on the plan purchased.  
    • This plan is available projectors over $500.00.
    • Coverage includes hardware failure, due to manufacturer defect, normal use, and Accidental Damage (including but not limited to, damage from dropping the item, spilling liquid on it etc.) 
    • The plan does cover shipment to the store (Please contact our tech support chat or phone line for help shipping a qualified item to the store).
    •  If the Projector fails or is subject to accidental damage during the plan timeframe, you can bring the product to your nearest Micro Center for evaluation at the service desk.
    • As long as the failure falls within the terms of the Accidental Damage plan (Click here to learn more about the ADH plan) the store will help find a suitable replacement.
    • If a suitable replacement is unavailable, then you will receive a Micro Center gift card for the original purchase price of the covered product (not including sales tax or the price of the Accidental Damage Plan). The gift card buys out the plan and can be used towards the purchase of any item in-store (it does not have to be the same item that the plan covered).
