Micro Center offers multiple bundles with many combinations of processors, motherboards, and RAM. These are separated into two main categories, AMD and Intel, based on the CPU that is offered in that bundle.

Can I change what is offered in the bundle to a different product?
We are not able to adjust what is offered in the bundles from what is shown on the website. Many of the bundles come with alternative motherboard options, though! Alternative motherboard options will be shown to the right of the main bundle listing page. If you do not see that there are any alternative components being offered for your desired bundle, then the bundle would only include the predetermined components assigned to it, and these are unable to be swapped out.
Can Micro Center install my bundle components for me?
We are happy to offer component installation services at all 30 of our retail locations! If your system is brought in early enough in the day, we can usually have these components installed on the same day as your bundle purchase!* Component installation is charged per component, and we recommend checking the links below to verify the current service pricing before making your trip in-store.

Are the bundles available online?
All of the bundles are available in the store as long as stock persists. Customers can:
- Place a reservation for the items online prior to visiting the store
- Speak with a BYO associate upon arriving and they can gather the parts needed
Why can't I search for a bundle with the SKU?
The bundles are all listed under the same SKU, 999999. This is due to how those bundles are rang out in store.
- The bundles do not have a specific SKU referring to that bundle; they are all given the same generic SKU
- Items from the bundle will be scanned in at checkout, then their prices will be reduced individually to match the bundle pricing

I see the processor/motherboard/RAM in stock, why is the bundle out of stock?
The bundle listing will only show stock if we have enough of the 3 components offered in that bundle. For example, we may have 25+ of the processor and RAM needed but if we are out of the motherboard, it will show as out of stock. You can check which part(s) are out of stock at the store location by following these steps!
- Head to the product page for the bundle in question
- Scroll down to the "PRODUCTS IN THIS BUNDLE" section as pictured below
- From there, you can check the stock of the parts individually
That will tell you which item we would need to wait on a restock of before being able to offer that bundle again!
Why does the motherboard manufacturer not list the RAM in the bundle as compatible?
The QVL list for the motherboards will only list the RAM that they tested in their facility while making the product, they are NOT a list of the only products that are compatible with the motherboard.
- All items we offer in the bundles are tested and confirmed to work in the same machine
- If a customer is having issues with their bundle the first thing we should do is troubleshoot based on their symptoms
- It is entirely possible that any one part of the bundle was defective out of the box and we need to confirm that the parts are working properly before we can consider it an incompatibility problem
Can I return only the processor/motherboard/RAM and keep the rest?
We are not able to return partial bundles, we would need all components brought back in if you would like to return one or multiple items.
What if one of my components is defective?
If you believe one of your bundle components is defective, we kindly ask that you visit your local Micro Center store with your component(s), and from there our team will be happy to take care of you.
Before you visit, we also recommend placing an online reservation on the component you are having issues with. This allows our store to grab your replacement component and have it ready for you when you come in, and will help expedite your visit! Simply add the item to your cart and follow through our online check-out with your local store selected, and your component will be held for 3 days in-store for pick-up!
Why is the bundle price in my cart different than the price shown on the bundle page?
When adding your bundle to your cart, you may see that bundle components are listed for their individual component price. If you see this, we recommend:
- Refreshing your webpage
- Clearing your cache and cookies on the MicroCenter.com webpage
- Checking that the components for your bundle are all in-stock individually
Still having issues? Not to worry! We will still honor your bundle price when you come in as long as the components are consistent with our current bundle offerings. Simply let our check-out associates know that your components are part of a bundle, and they will be happy to facilitate your bundled discount at that time!
How long will these bundles last?
While the price and configuration of bundles are subject to change at any given time, placing a reservation is a great way to lock in your deal! Placing a reservation locks-in both the price and bundle configuration you have added to your cart, and gives you 3 days to come in and make your pick-up.
