Before You Begin

How to Reset Windows 11 to Factory Defaults
Step 1: Open Reset Options
- Click Start > Settings (or press Windows + I).
- Navigate to System > Recovery.
- Under Recovery options, find Reset this PC and click Reset PC.
Step 2: Choose What to Keep
You’ll be asked to choose between two options:
- Keep my files
→ Removes apps and settings, but retains your personal files. - Remove everything
→ Removes all files, settings, and apps. Choose this for a true factory reset.
Step 3: Choose Reinstall Method
Next, choose how you want to reinstall Windows:
- Cloud download
